Sarah de la MareDelta Training and Consultancy’s Sarah de la Mare, holds a vast range of first aid and health and safety training qualifications.

A previous ENT nurse and a St John’s Ambulance Registered Paramedic for 10 years, Sarah has also spent time at the Institute of Health and Social Care Studies training hospital and healthcare staff in essential clinical skills.

Back at Delta

‘I’d already spent a year at Delta before moving to the Institute of Health and Social Care Studies,’ said Sarah, ‘but returning full time to Delta Training has been my dream for a very long time. I’m delighted to be back.’

Bringing additional Training skills

As well as complementing all the current training capabilities, Sarah brings additional training skills to Delta which include:

  • Oxygen administration (Emergency and Health Care settings)
  • Airway management
  • Moving and Handling of People (ERGO Coach)

‘I know I’ll be run off my feet but I can’t wait to get going,’ added Sarah.

Dawn Bagnall

Dawn BagnallDelta Training and Consultancy’s Dawn Bagnall, holds every qualification you would expect.

For 22 years in the British Army, Dawn worked primarily in training and operational roles in the Middle East.

Dawn followed this by working as a front-line Emergency Medical Technician for two years with Guernsey’s Ambulance and Rescue Services.

Why Delta?

With so much operational training and experience behind her, Dawn ached to provide the level of practical training the Islands deserve.

‘I want clients to feel they haven’t just attended a training course to tick the right boxes or because their employers have told them they have to do the course, but to have experienced a really useful training exercise.

‘When they leave at the end of the day I want them to feel confident that they can implement their new skills without hesitation.’


Courses with Delta Training and Consultancy meet HSE legislation and standards, and are OFQUAL regulated through the FAA (First Aid Awards) in association with Nuco Training Ltd.

Delta Training’s Qualifications include,

  • IHDC BTEC Level 3 Ambulance Aid & Ambulance Driving
  • FPOS BTEC Level 2

  • First Aid at Work Level 3 & AED Instructor
  • Health & Safety Instructor
